Additional sites will be visited; with some of our target species being Hawfinch, Goshawk, Woodlark and Brambling.

The talk covers Spring birdwatching in Finland and Norway where we meet many of our "winter" birds in their breeding grounds plus the speciality birds of the far north. Featuring photos by notable professional photographers such as Jari Peltomaki.

Some may remember that Neil gave a talk to the Club exactly one year ago on the Birds of Morocco. Neil is the author of Best Birdwatching Sites in Norfolk and Best Birdwatching Sites in Yorkshire; he is a regular contributor to Birdwatching magazine; a freelance tour leader for Avian Adventures and the UK rep for South Texas Nature. A resident of Nottingham he is the Chair of Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers and also a patron of Birding for All.
