We will meet at 10:00 am at the Sykes Lane car park (there is a charge for parking) on the north shore (postcode LE15 8QL), then we'll probably progress on to Barnsdale, Burley fishponds and the Hambleton peninsula. We won't be going into the Reserve, but we should see a wide range of wildfowl and hopefully some of the rarer Grebes, Divers and Scaup amongst other species.

Charlie is the Senior Site Manager at RSPB Nene Washes and should provide some insight into one of our local birding sites.
