  1. Castor Hanglands Morning Chorus And Big Breakfast Outdoor Event

    Castor Hanglands
    This, the second and more traditional of our Dawn Chorus walks which is nicely followed by breakfast at the Granary café at Willowbrook Farm. As well as a good selection of warblers there should be several singing Nightingales. 

    Anybody with an interest in nature, from beginner to expert, are welcome to join us on our Outdoor Events that are free. It is a good way to get to know existing members and possibly improve your expertise.

    Meet: At 06:00 at Willowbrook Farm car park. The breakfast is optional with an associated charge dependent upon selection.

  6. Rutland Water NR Outdoor Event

    Rutland Water Bird Watching Centre
    A second visit to the fabulous Rutland Water, this time to the nature reserve. As well as the usual wide selection of birds there should be nesting Ospreys.  After lunch plan to drive round to the Lynden visitors centre for a short walk to the hides on Manton Bay for good views of Osprey on the nest. 

    Anybody with an interest in nature, from beginner to expert, are welcome to join us on our Outdoor Events that are free. It is a good way to get to know existing members and possibly improve your expertise.

    Meet: At 10:00 at the nature reserve car park. There is an entry charge for non-members.
