Annual General Meeting and Birds and Climate Change with James Pearce-Higgins Indoor Event
DateLocationThe Post Office Sports & Social Club, Peterborough, PE1 2AUThe Annual General Meeting will be held this evening followed by a talk on Birds and Climate Change. In this talk, Prof James Pearce-Higgins, BTO's Director of Science, summarises the latest evidence describing how bird populations have already been impacted by climate change, considers what the future may hold, and outlines some suggestions of how we should respond. This talk has a UK focus, and attempts to make this global issue relevant to the birds that we see around us.

Cley Marshes NWT Outdoor Event
DateLocationVisitor Centre, Coast Road, Cley next the Sea, NR25 7SAThe Wildlife Trust's oldest and best known reserve. It has a diverse range of habitats and supports breeding Bitterns, Avocets, Marsh harriers and Bearded tits whilst in late April there should be good numbers of passage waders and newly arrived migrants.
