North East Norfolk Bird Club

Walcott

Image of Walcott birding site

A small coastal community, about 2 miles NW of Happisburgh, on the B1159 which runs along the beach at Walcott Gap. Often a good area for seawatching when conditions are right. Inland the fields and woodland by the Lighthouse Inn are well worth checking. Habitats: arable farmland, coast, gardens, grassland, hedgerows and woodland.
