Skeyton Corner
Reputed to be the second highest location in Norfolk, with a\r\ngood all-round vista from the junction of the Skeyton to North Walsham road and the minor, unfenced, road to Swanton Hill. There are distant views over the Bure Valley to the south and west, the Westwick estate in the east and Lord Anson's Wood to the north. This is a good likely location to watch during times of migration. Cars can be parked in a number of near-by pull-ins or on the verge - being careful not to obstruct agricultural vehicles. The nearest amenities are in the town of North Walsham - 2 miles distant.
