Sheringham Cliffs & Golf Course (view only from public footpaths)

Image of Sheringham Cliffs & Golf Course (view only from public footpaths) birding site

This new location covers the Coastal Path west from Sheringham including the whole of the golf course, Skelding Hill westwards meeting the path that runs north from Sheringham Park. The golf course is best observed from Skelding Hill but often birds can be found close the Coastal Path especially at the western end. The path drops to beach level at Old Hythe, once the site of the original lifeboat house; here it is possible to access the beach. There is no public access to the golf course and the whole area south of the coastal path is sensitive so please keep to the path and use a telescope to scan the fields.
