The main parking area is off Pretty Corner Lane, signed off the A148 on the east side of the Holway Road junction. There is a second parking and access point on the east side of Holway Road as you leave the town. Not only is it a rich mixed woodland site it also holds a couple of spring fed pools which in turn feed on to Beeston Common. Despite being a great habitat it is under recorded by birdwatchers, probably overshadowed by other nearby sites which are easier to view.
