Pigneys Wood (NWT)
The car park is off the B1150 North Walsham to Bacton road in Hall Lane with brown signs to guide you there. This very varied compact site has a little of everything, established woodland, hedges, grass, reedbed, pools and is bordered by the North Walsham & Dilham canal, under restoration and Paston Way, to the west. The area is full of paths with three well marked trails to follow. Generally easy walking but with the occasional muddy patch to get through, the higher ground offers good views over the surrounding countryside and should be good to witness visible migration on a suitable day. The whole area can be covered in less than two hours and is well worth a visit whatever your interest.
