Happisburgh (Doggetts Lane)

Image of Happisburgh (Doggetts Lane) birding site

This is the furthest point east within our recording area. Doggetts Lane runs north west from the car park at Cart Gap and becomes recordable after about 100m. If accepted, this site produced one of the rarest bird records in 2016 - Black-eared Wheatear. The view, depicted in John Hurst's stunning watercolour, is from the north end of Doggett's Lane looking towards Happisburgh.
