East Beckham

Image of East Beckham birding site

A small village south of the A148 roughly south of Hilltop. Although small it is well provided with footpaths with routes to West Beckham, Gresham, Aylmerton and the main road to the north. Water runs through this grassy valley from East Beckham Hall to the west before heading south east towards Lower Gresham. Barn Owls are frequently seen a Tawny's can be heard most evenings. It does have a resident Peacock which may come as a surprise. Well worth a visit. Habitats: arable farmland, gardens, grassland, hedgerows, river and woodland.
