Antingham & Bradfield

This revised location covers an area about three miles NW of North Walsham covering these two villages, Antingham Pond and Antingham Hill. Only served by "Quiet Lanes" and a few footpaths, it contains a good range of habitats including pasture, paddocks, wet woodland, copse, arable including set aside and churchyards. Water is provided by Antingham Pond, which is now difficult to view and the long disused upper reaches of the North Walsham & Dilham Canal. The pond can attract good numbers of birds on occasions. The railway runs roughly north heading towards Cromer on the west side of the pond. There is no easy parking, so a case of finding a place and exploring on foot.
