This small hamlet straddles the A140. Best known for the Craft Centre, pub and garage on the main road the surrounding land is arable farmland and offers little to the birdwatcher. Nearby Erpingham (Thwaite Common) and Aldborough are the preferred local sites. 

Habitats: arable farmland, gardens, hedgerows, pond, river and woodland.
