DESCRIPTION

For hotel guests.

A beautiful mangrove island for guests and visitors at the hotel who can swim across at high tide or walk across the sand bar at low tide.

Popular with Ospreys that nest on the navigation buoys at the entrance to Abu Tig Marina next door.

A popular stop over for the migration to rest with resident herons, Eurasian curlew and shorebirds.

SUITABILITY

If visiting the hotel, ask for permission at Reception to photograph the birds to avoid problems with hotel security guards in the grounds.
