A project by Nature Conservation Egypt to establish a permanent station to monitor and study migratory birds and become a flagship observation point of global significance in terms and numbers and diversity of species during the spring migration.

Nature Conservation Egypt are the partner for Birdlife International.

Global Birdfair's 2024 project has been announced as Galala Bird Observatory in Egypt. Work will take place over the next two years.
